{"id":326,"date":"2016-05-31T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2016-05-31T04:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev.explora.cl\/aysen\/blog\/2016\/05\/31\/mate-y-ciencia-charla-biomimetica\/"},"modified":"2019-05-20T21:20:57","modified_gmt":"2019-05-20T21:20:57","slug":"mate-y-ciencia-charla-biomimetica","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dev.explora.cl\/aysen\/mate-y-ciencia-charla-biomimetica\/","title":{"rendered":"Profesor dict\u00f3 charla sobre tecnolog\u00edas &quot;bioinspiradas&quot;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-17881\" src=\"http:\/\/ec2-54-245-22-188.us-west-2.compute.amazonaws.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/4633fa45c8a5436e7414b6f3b2b65976_L.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"363\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Enmarcado en el ciclo de divulgaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica \u201cEntre mate y ciencia\u201d, hoy se realiz\u00f3 la charla \u201cBiomim\u00e9tica: fuente de inspiraci\u00f3n para las soluciones tecnol\u00f3gicas del presente\u201d, a cargo del profesor Jos\u00e9 Luis Arias.\u00a0El docente, del Centro para la Investigaci\u00f3n Interdisciplinaria Avanzada en Ciencias de los Materiales (CIMAT) de la Universidad de Chile, abord\u00f3 numerosos ejemplos en que la industria se ha \u201cbioinspirado\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>La influencia de las caracter\u00edsticas anat\u00f3micas del mart\u00edn pescador sobre el dise\u00f1o del tren bala japon\u00e9s; la de un halc\u00f3n sobre el avi\u00f3n bombardero furtivo norteamericano; el comportamiento de un girasol sobre la disposici\u00f3n de una planta de concentraci\u00f3n solar espa\u00f1ola; o la morfolog\u00eda de un cactus sobre un proyecto arquitect\u00f3nico en Qatar, son solo algunos de los ejemplos a los que el profesor se refiri\u00f3 para ilustrar la amplitud de este enfoque multidisciplinario.<\/p>\n<p>Durante la charla, Arias tambi\u00e9n hizo alusi\u00f3n a las investigaciones que lleva a cabo el CIMAT, como la que apunta a la creaci\u00f3n de un pl\u00e1stico de mayor resistencia inspirado en las propiedades de la c\u00e1scara de huevo, o la que busca generar un biopegamento inspirado en la adhesi\u00f3n del picoroco.<\/p>\n<p>El profesor recalc\u00f3 el valor de la curiosidad para esta incipiente disciplina. \u201cEstamos al inicio de la investigaci\u00f3n en materiales bioinspirados.
